Issues Pertaining To The Data Protection And Privacy Laws In India

ABSTRACT


It is not an exaggeration to say that we are living in this data world. Post pandemic most office worked from home. Other countries might not have codified technology laws; because of the reasoning that these technologies are ever evolving. But, there are so many things on stake. Money, Reputation, Identity, viz., are some which are severely damaged.


Talking about India, these cybercrimes which are getting virtually annihilated. These crimes are largely unanticipated. Being it fake banker’s call or someone tries to get your bank account details with exciting deals. In this diverge radii there are multiple source of discontent which are very much prevailing without any protection.


The victims who suffered from it, does realize the dark side of this Internet. Social media is just an attraction to exhaust our creativity. We are becoming mobile zombies. Children’s on the other hand, have lost to such an extent. Cyber bullying, cyber stalking, pornography, etc., are some of things which affects child’s mental space. Beyond this, we are giving our privacy by ourselves going on these very platforms and these platform company are printing enough money and out mental energy, time and psychology are gone away by this.


Although, we know that out of 13 servers, 12 servers are operated from United States. So, most of all cyberspace that we are currently using have depositories in United States and it all saves in their data. NIXI- National Internet Exchange of India working a lot on this privacy thing. If one want to have a private connection they may buy a secured and private connection. Keeping vulnerable communities in mind, India is the third country after Japan and USA to have the most digital payment which has increased post 2016. Keeping all those factors in mind, this vulnerability and market mechanism is not understood to all the people living in interior parts of the country. There is a dearth of continuing confidence in keeping these online things; one way it is suave and soft, the other way its stomping a narcissistic trail.
