Jallikattu: A 5000-Year-Old Tradition

ABSTRACT


This article deals with the history and legal context of Jallikattu- a 5000 year old tradition followed and practiced in many South Indian states, mainly Tamilnadu. The legal problems, advantages and humanitarian solutions are provided. This proves to be essential as this topic contains age-old rich history that must be preserved and protected.
