Judicial Infrastructure: The Need Of Digital And Human Resources In Deliberating The Efficiency Of Judicial Proceedings

The technological advancements in the past decade have not only been advocated for but also has been implemented over wide range of fields. With such advancements rising at a fast phase the digital forums for judicial proceedings stands as an essential part for the working of Courts at all levels. With great advancements comes a greater need to create awareness on the availability of such resources. The need of the hour being right implementation and acceptance of improved technological support system have to be taken care at the right time to be in line in this Globalised set up.


One of the main objectives of this paper is to discuss the availability of digital infrastructure for judicial proceedings along with the perspective of Lawyers and the upcoming lawyers on implementation of technological advancements over the conventional working of Courts in India. Through this paper, the awareness of availability of judicial procedures in the digital space is expected to be created. The comparative analysis with other countries who have a digitalised working of judicial proceedings can also

help in better understanding of the need in India with prospects of having a better digitalised working. This paper also aims at rendering the benefits of having a digitalised set up of judicial proceedings for easier working of the Courts which also helps in reducing the pile up of cases. The online space on the contrary to popular belief has an advantageous side of working at comfort and finding various resources in relation to case at hand. With such a massive range of information available online the usage of paper can also be reduced. This works under the facets of Environmental protection on utilising the available digital forums over the physical paper where the print out in large numbers are hard to store and have a high possibility of damage.


With all these in consideration, this paper aims at establishing a relation of digital resources in alignment with human resources for a smooth run of judicial proceedings.
