ABSTRACT


Disabled people are roughshod in several societies. They are not provided with good opportunities in education. They are provided less opportunities to develop their potent skills. As a result they see little prospects life to participate life to in political and economic development of country. In several families, they are not deemed capable enough to do anything apart from usual householder chores. They are relegated to drudgery of existence amidst sarcasm and scattering of disappointment. They feel depressed and frustrated. They become dependent and find it difficult to become part of society. As a society, it is uttermost duty to allow people with disability to experience life which they deserve. They face many problems like employment, lack of education, negative attitude, and feeling of being incomplete.


They are entitled to exercise their civil, social, economic, cultural right on equal basics with others. Under the constitution the disabled have been granted various fundamental rights. The constitution secures to citizens including disabled, right of justice, liberty of thought, expression, belief equality of status and opportunity. Every person including disabled has life and liberty guaranteed under Article 21. Disability rights are basic human right. Person with disability has same right as all people to non-discrimination, access and full participation.
