ABSTRACT

Throughout human history, technology and people have always been closely connected. However, AI-driven tools have introduced new risks to our privacy and the security of information worldwide, exposing our private lives to the public. Decentralized AI technologies offer a promising solution by providing secure, open, and accessible AI services and algorithms. By utilizing these platforms, we can enhance the democratization and accessibility of AI solutions while reducing the risks associated with centralized systems. This research delves into various legal provisions of cyber laws and the threats posed by technological advancements, focusing on AI and its impact on the right to privacy, highlighting how AI has become a concern for privacy protection. The court has called on the government to establish a comprehensive framework for regulating AI to address these concerns. In India, policy development is beginning to place more emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI). This article makes the case that policymakers should consider the technological constraints of AI systems when formulating regulations and that the societal and ethical issues these restrictions raise should guide the goals of policy-making procedures. It applies the suggested paradigm to ongoing sectoral concerns in India and is written against the current policy landscape of AI in India. It focuses on possible hazards that result from data-driven decisions in general and in the Indian context in particular to influence the nation's current policy deliberations.
