ABSTRACT

The judicial system forms the bedrock of any democratic society, ensuring justice, fairness, and protection of rights. However, in India, a nation known for its rich legal heritage, the limited judicial infrastructure has posed significant challenges. This research paper comprehensively explores the multifaceted implications of India's inadequate judicial infrastructure. Through meticulous analysis, real-world case studies, and in-depth examination of existing literature, this paper sheds light on the profound impact of delayed justice, legal backlogs, and accessibility issues on the citizens, businesses, and the overall socio- economic landscape of the country. Furthermore, the paper discusses recent legal reforms and technological advancements, assessing their effectiveness in mitigating the challenges and enhancing access to justice. By critically evaluating the existing scenarios and proposing strategic recommendations, this research paper aims to contribute substantively to the discourse on strengthening India's judicial infrastructure.
