Saurav Kumar, Calcutta University

ABSTRACT

Privacy this term has taken birth in recent times. From time immemorial looking from the past to present lens we can view the dimension which has changed the human lives or rather made us to be more private while sharing our journey of life. Before people used to mostly reside in villages with no sort of power, communication etc. For them the communication used to be only through personal interaction through going to each other house . With the development of society and people shifting to cities in search of job, education etc and new technology coming up it has become imperative for people to protect their relevant data through various mechanisms. In this article we walk through Privacy as a fundamental right and its various repurcussions.
