ABSTRACT


This legal research paper explores potential of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms in resolving land conflicts in Indian state of Telangana. Land disputes are pervasive issue in India often leading to prolonged litigation and social unrest. Telangana newly formed state faces unique challenges in land governance due to its complex history and socio- economic dynamics. The study aims to examine applicability and effectiveness of ADR methods such as mediation conciliation and arbitration in addressing various types of land disputes prevalent in state. Through doctrinal analysis of legal frameworks case laws and existing literature research seeks to identify opportunities and challenges in implementing ADR for land conflict resolution in Telangana. The findings of this study contribute to growing discourse on ADR and access to justice in land governance offering insights for policymakers legal practitioners and researchers working towards equitable and efficient resolution of land disputes.
