Rajat Tiwari, B.A.LL.B (Hons), Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh

ABSTRACT

In February 2003, the ICRC held an international conference in Geneva, Switzerland, which culminated in a debate on missing persons and their families, which gained the knowledge of international experts. The conference brought together 350 participants from 86 countries around the world, and their suggestions lay a solid foundation for future work. The ICRC also works to prevent poverty by promoting and advancing human rights and international human rights. The ultimate goal is to ensure that authorities and leaders are held accountable to deal with missing persons responsibly, increase support for families and prevent further loss.
