Role Of World Trade Organization In Globalization

ABSTRACT

After the end of the Second World War the world economy and trade was in tremble, a need for an international body to promote trade and economy was the need of the hour. This requirement was filled by the establishment of the GATT and later the organization was succeeded by the World Trade Organization. The impact of WTO in the globalization has been enormous, it has helped tremendously to stabilize the trade relations among the countries. This paper looks into the various aspect of WTO, its functions and its contribution in Globalization.
