Society, a medium through which individuals have interacted, shared experiences, influenced each other’s cultures, imbibed new values and customs, has witnessed the emergence of a novel social space in the form of cyberspace. Cyberspace is a concept describing a widespread interconnected network through digital technology which has enabled a virtual society across the world. The invasion of regular life by the digital has undeniably followed the need for scientific understanding of the functioning of this space1. Cyberspace results from the human collective ability to conceptualize possibilities in the design and use of technological artifacts. The research project aims to analyze this social order of virtual space, the online deviation (“cyber-crime”) and cyber security.Understanding these concepts assumes that the theories developed by social science to elucidate "social reality" are applicable to understanding the digital space. The general rules of behaviour, trends, and biases of individuals can all be found in the cybernetic environment.“Cyber environment” permits various versions of activism and it as well coalescences myriad of application, pursuits. However, there are certain risks the exposure of cyberspace brings in with. Therefore, this paper encapsulates the two prominent aspects of cyberspace, Virtual Social Bodies & the online deviation along with the growing rate of vulnerabilities in the cyberspace and contextualized the trend within this framework of sociology by also delving deep into the possible solutions of cybercrimes along with its impact and relevance in the times of Covid-19.
