ABSTRACT

Youth and children are considered the main assets of any country, future of any country basically depends of these two mains assets of the country. In order to prevent our children from engaging in criminal activity, we must give them the right care and protection. If any child turns into delinquent behaviour, this will either directly or indirectly have an impact on the entire society. According to the data given by NCRB report 2021, A total of 31,170 cases have been registered against Juveniles during 2021,This is the primary issue of society which is growing daily. There is a maxim which can help us to solve this problem which is “prevention is better than cure”. This paper pertains to how juveniles turn into criminal activities, What are the main criminality-related elements that influence young people to become criminals?. Further, this paper will highlight theories related to crime causation as social disorganisation theory, social conflict theory, family structure and Intra-family relationships.
