ABSTRACT
The United Nations has approved the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 which directly aims to show global issues like poverty, climate change, and environmental challenges. The SDGs primary aim is to achieve a sustainable and equitable world for all by 2030. In this paper a thorough examination of academic literature, policy documents, and reports available are used to identify major results of implemented policies of government towards SDGs and also try to find out the developing difficulties that connected to the SDGs. The review of various research paper indicated the strong progress that have been made by the government in the area of SDGs, including poverty reduction, access to education, primary health facilities, gender equality, environmental issues because these areas directly or indirectly are connected to the basic human needs that falls under the ambit of human rights. Other goals, such as climate change, and sustainable production and consumption of goods are continued to be an obstacle in SGDs goals. Despite many hurdles, there are exciting opportunities for us which can be used in many ways to achieve the SDGs. These include increased political commitment, technical advancements, and public knowledge of sustainability challenges. Despite progress in many areas there are still significant challenges that are remaining to achieve the SDGs goals by 2030. Such Challenges includes insufficient financial resources, political will, lack of coordination among the authorities, data gaps, and poor monitoring of government programs. Achieving the SDGs needs a collaborative effort from all the stakeholders to address such global issues, which are presents before us as possibilities and difficulties to achieve SDGs by 2030. Addressing issues and leveraging opportunities can lead to a more fair and sustainable future for all human beings. The Quantitative methodology of Research is used for this research paper in which the main objective is to find out how SDGs are affecting the lives of all human beings, their human rights and how environmental sustainability is maintained by implementing these SDGs.
