International Law:
How is international law created and where does it come from? Contrary to what one may anticipate, these concerns are challenging and call for careful consideration. Trying to apply concepts from national legal systems to the vastly different context of international law is particularly risky global legislation. "Code of International Law" does not exist. There is no international law. There is a number of specialized international courts and tribunals, including the International Court of Justice, their authority is heavily reliant on state approval and they do not have the resources to correctly referred to as mandatory jurisdiction as national courts have.
As a result, the 192 States that make up the international community actively participate in the creation of international law.
