1. ABSTRACT

Legal Positivism is one of the most influential school of thought, that was developed in West, especially Britain. One of the central tenets of legal positivism is the theory of separation between law & morality. ‘Cultural Pluralism’, is the main feature of our society, which is a land of many religions, races etc., In this regard, legal pluralism becomes relevant by putting law above various customs & traditions which may become contradictory to one another at sometimes.
