The weakness of labours was exposed badly in the pandemic or global crisis. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO) Global crisis affected 14 million workers which not only affected their employment but also their livelihood as there was a wage cut due to which they used to get less income In the end it was difficult for them to have a good standard of living. Even in unsafe working conditions workers continued working and employers have failed to give adequate protective measures.

This paper examines how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the labours of Indians and their work. The challenges or consequences faced by labourers. Along with this problem, labours face difficulty in surviving in such an environment. In COVID-19- 19, the rights of labourers were also violated from cut wages to lost jobs. Employers also took advantage of the pandemic to exploit the workers by giving less amount of salary and laying off workers without paying salaries.
