ABSTRACT

The area of global governance, the 21st century has brought up new difficulties and opportunities, particularly regarding the protection of the rights of children who are already vulnerable. Children are more vulnerable to threats like exploitation, trafficking, forced labour and violence as globalization picks up speed. These threats are made worse by poverty, relocation, and conflict. Through a thorough analysis of international frameworks, legal tools and cooperative initiatives aimed at defending children’s rights, the paper on “Global Governance and Protection of vulnerable Children: Human Rights in the 21st Century” seeks to address this urgent concern. To enforce child protection and guarantee adherence to agreements like the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), this paper will examine the changing role of global governance organizations, including the UN, UNICEF, and other International Organizations. Policy gaps, the difficulties of applying international norms domestically, and the requirement for more robust accountability system will be the main topics of debate. This study will also stress the value of global collaboration in combating new risks to children, such as those associated with digital environments and climate change. Global governance can be crucial in building a more secure and just future for the most vulnerable people on the planet by encouraging cross – border cooperation and incorporating child rights into larger human rights agendas.
