ABSTRACT

Pharmaceuticals originally existed for the sake of treating beings, human and otherwise, of their maladies, diseases and illnesses. However, the world has changed. The number of people has grown, the number of diseases and illnesses discovered has increased exponentially, and the number of people suffering from such maladies has similarly shot up. Human nature is such that greed is ingrained in us. This rise in the number of people suffering from maladies and the consequent rise in the medicines being used to treat these ill effects subsequently led to the rise in prices and a whole new business industry geared towards medicines catering to the unsuspecting public. Naturally, such a lucrative opportunity could not be missed out on.
