The Procedure For Appointment Of Judges In The Indian Constitution: Transparent Or Not?

ABSTRACT

Judiciary is seen as the best mode of justice present in human kind. The appointment procedure of judges in India goes as per our rule governing book that is our Indian constitution. It consists of how the legal procedures will go ahead, similarly it consist the procedures of appointing the judges and their functioning. The constitution makers have always tried to establish a transparent mechanism and equally amongst all. But with time and increasing needs of the developing country, there might appear some loopholes which need to be addressed and changes might turn out to be good. This paper aims to rule out some of the loopholes in the procedure for the appointment of the judges and the involvement of administration, which is making it questionable that whether this process is really transparent or not. This is the burning issue that is being addressed here with some solutions to the identifies issue of the nation.
