Karri Moulendra Satya Venkat, LL.M., Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad

ABSTRACT

The main objective of this Empirical Study is to research the concept of Insurance, exclusively about Life and Health Insurance. I am beginning with the evolution of the concept of Insurance in India, the meaning and types of Insurance, Government schemes, and structure of the Insurance Industry structure, and the regulatory body in India. The uses and importance of Life and Health Insurance policies are followed by statistics about the Indian Insurance sector.

In addition to the abovementioned information, this study also incorporates research data on life and health insurance. The data was collected from a random sample of people, including their opinions about life and health insurance policies and their experiences in dealing with insurance policies. The study includes an analysis of the collected data, already existing statistical data and analysis, key findings, and a summary of the findings.
