ABSTRACT
In times of crisis, such conflicts, sanctions, and climate change, arbitration is essential for settling conflicts and promoting stability in a world that is becoming more unpredictable by the day. Arbitration is a crucial tool for international dispute resolution as crises upend social, political, and economic structures. It provides parties with a flexible and unbiased forum for resolving disputes outside of conventional judicial systems. This essay examines the changing function of arbitration during emergencies, emphasizing how well it handles the intricate problems brought on by economic sanctions, geopolitical unrest, and the growing difficulties posed by climate change. It looks at how arbitration might adjust to the particular requirements of these emergencies, guaranteeing impartiality, justice, and award enforcement in a legal environment that is changing quickly. The study examines the advantages and disadvantages of arbitration in offering prompt and fair resolutions during times of international unrest through case studies and analysis, while also taking into account the wider ramifications for international law and governance.
