Sakshi Sharma & Devesh Pandey, Assistant Professor, Renaissance Law College, Indore

ABSTRACT

This research work is concerned with the vacuum in law that has been created by the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI). There are many legal gaps in the laws in India when it comes to AI which still don’t deal with recent problems. AI is attaining widespread progression in today’s world. There’s not much time when these technologies or systems will start to create inventions without any intervention of humans. It brings a pertinent question of Intellectual property because the laws still deal in a traditional way with rights related to it. This paper is going to deal with the issues of limited scope of Intellectual property Rights (IPR) laws while dealing with AI. Paper will also address the issues related to it such as liability of AI and will attempt to provide suggestions related to it. AI is growing with a really high rate and day by day more advanced software’s are incorporated to them. AI is now not only concerned with the fast calculations but now it can also make poetry, paintings and other works of art more creative and more complex.
