ABSTRACT

The trafficking of children and child exploitation are grave violations of human rights that demand effective legal measures and responses. This abstract aims to evaluate the adequacy of current legal measures in preventing the trafficking of children for various forms of exploitation, including sexual exploitation and organ harvesting. It explores the international legal framework, criminalization and penalties, prevention and protection measures, international cooperation and assistance, as well as victim support and rehabilitation. By analysing these key elements, this abstract sheds light on the strengths and weaknesses of existing legal responses to child trafficking and exploitation. The findings emphasize the importance of implementation, enforcement, resource allocation, and international collaboration in effectively combating these crimes. Recommendations are provided to enhance legal frameworks, strengthen prevention efforts, improve victim support services, and promote international cooperation, ultimately ensuring the protection and well-being of all children.
