In the modern era of navigation, it is possible for a ship to sail without deviation except in cases of rare situations. The law regarding deviation in the contract of carriage also evolved along with the growth of navigation. This article aims to study the about the unjustified deviation in the present legal regulations pertaining to carriage of goods by sea.
