Suraj Das V, Presidency University

ABSTRACT

In addition to comparing the rules for admissibility in four different countries UK, Germany, India this essay covers the requirements for forensic evidence in court proceedings. Prior to discussing principles of admissibility like validity, reliability, usefulness, and efficiency, numerous standards of evidence and their contents are tabulated. The laws governing admissibility in the UK are covered in the second article, along with the relationships between the four criteria for admissibility assistance, pertinent expertise, impartiality, and evidentiary reliability as well as the context of the Law Commission Report, Law Commission Recommendation, and Government Response. Principles of Scientific Evidence in Germany, which analyses components and their contents in a tabular style, is the third topic. The legality of using DNA evidence in Germany is then addressed separately. Finally, the standards governing the acceptance of scientific evidence in India are explored.
