ABSTRACT
Rapid technological development has increased cyber risks and events, including cyberbullying in India. Cyberbullying is when someone harasses, threatens, or harms another person through digital communication tools like the internet and social media. For victims, it may result in serious repercussions such as bodily damage, social isolation, and emotional misery. On the other side, cybersecurity focuses on guarding against unauthorised access, damage, and theft of computer systems, networks, and data. In order to better understand the connection between cybersecurity and cyberbullying in India, this study article focuses on different risks, vulnerabilities, and their prevalence. Interviews, questionnaires, and case studies are just a few of the qualitative and quantitative techniques used in the study. A total of 204 samples have been taken through questionnaire. Understanding cybersecurity infrastructure, looking at cyberbullying tactics, looking at motivations, psychological effects, and outcomes, looking at legal frameworks, identifying educational institutions, parents, and social media platforms, and promoting cybersecurity awareness campaigns and digital literacy initiatives are some of the key areas of research. The research will add to the body of information already available in India on cybersecurity and cyberbullying, with the goal of informing policymakers, law enforcement, and educational institutions about the necessity of strong cybersecurity measures and all-encompassing tactics to successfully address cyberbullying.
