The following section looks at the most recent developments in supervisory and legislative approaches for conducting maritime scientific investigations in a way that is environmentally conscious. The article begins by outlining the primary administration difficulties associated with this developing problem, and this involves determining an appropriate compromise among promoting maritime research in order to deepen our comprehension of the marine ecosystem while decreasing the negative ecological effects associated with studies given its inherent unanticipated events. The subsequent aspect offers an overall description of the legal structure established in “Parts XIII and XII of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS)”, that regulate, each, maritime scientific investigation and the conservation and the safeguarding of the marine ecosystem.
