ABSTRACT

Law and order cannot be separated from any kind of Administrative System. Every Administration has different System of Justice depending upon the vision and skills of the Monarch. Thus, the Judicial system of a territory also reflects the persona of the sovereign. Here the Article will discuss about the legal and Judicial system under the reign of King Vikramaditya in Ujjain and how far it is similar to our contemporary System of Justice.
