ABSTRACT


This research paper titled "Copyright Infringement in the Digital Landscape" explores the challenges posed by digital piracy and the need for innovative approaches to address this global threat. The rapid growth of digital technology has led to widespread copyright infringement and digital piracy, posing significant challenges to content creators, industries, and intellectual property laws. The paper examines the contentious issues surrounding the dissemination, communication, and reproduction of works in society when using digital media as a source. The research paper highlights the difficulties faced by law enforcement in combating digital piracy due to the rapid advancement of technology. The paper argues that a comprehensive strategy that combines legal, technical, sociological, and economic measures is essential to address the future of several creative sectors internationally. The paper also explores the innovative approaches that can be explored to bridge the gap between digital tools' capabilities and existing legal frameworks in addressing copyright infringement. The research paper concludes that the challenges posed by digital piracy require a multi-faceted approach that involves collaboration between content creators, industries, and law enforcement agencies. The paper emphasizes the need for a comprehensive strategy that combines legal, technical, sociological, and economic measures to address the future of several creative sectors internationally. The paper recommends that policymakers and stakeholders should explore innovative approaches to bridge the gap between digital tools' capabilities and existing legal frameworks in addressing copyright infringement.
