EVOLUTION OF LABOUR LAW

In the 18th Century, the Industrial Revolution began which led to the development of labor laws. It was an essential need to bring in laws for the protection of the laborers as they were being treated unfairly. The First World War ended in the year 1918 and a meeting was called by the International Federation of Trade Unions to make changes for the future. The meeting was completely boycotted by the USA but the meeting was quite a successful one and they were able to achieve and fulfill some of the demands of the labor. The International Federation of Trade Unions raised its voice for the establishment of an international body that would have a direct link with the League of Nations.
