Laws On Light Pollution

Kanak Verma, Symbiosis Law School, Noida

ABSTRACT

Earth is the only known planet where life, in any form (be it plants, animals or humans), has persisted and thrived. Still, there are always drawbacks to consider. Earth is the only planet in the solar system to experience pollution problems. After seeing the condition of Earth, Mars is so grateful that it has no inhabitants and that it refuses to reveal any signs of water or life.

Despite their seeming vastness and depth, the world's seas are actually enormous bodies of water plagued by oil spills, depleted oxygen levels, and garbage. In reality, the leaves that appear to be swaying and dancing in the breeze are putting up a fierce battle against the toxins in the air. Soil fertility improving and plants blooming after rain was a typical occurrence, but now the soil is either starving for water or is overfilled with it, and the delicate equilibrium is gone. The sky may appear to be adored by the clouds, but in reality, it is being duped by the clouds' doppelgangers, which are smog and dust balls. The night sky is shrouded in smoke, so the tales we heard as kids about the stars sparkling are now simply another piece of fiction!
