Keshav Singh Rathore & Suryansh Rastogi, ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad

ABSTRACT

Regardless of public opinion, a fact stays a fact. And the truth is that quantum computing is arriving soon. The biggest companies on Earth are heavily investing in this technology. And they are doing so because this technology has the potential to revolutionise traditional forms of computing.

It is also a fact most of the world relies heavily on computers. Be it travelling to space, or doing office work, or transferring money online, or even writing this paper, none of this including millions of other tasks that our very lives depend upon would have been possible without computers.

Now that we know that the traditional forms of computing are going to be rapidly revolutionised because of the incredible amounts of speed delivered by Quantum Computers, this means that this technology will further, bring more new technologies onto the table.

Overall, there will certainly be changes as to how the world will work and in this paper, we wish to foresee ethical and legal challenges that will possibly be brought by the advent of quantum computing technology in the near future.
