ABSTRACT

The article explains the basic structure on international court of justice. Any court in order to work properly requires proper handling and functioning which may result in dispute settlement efficiently. To give a proper structure to the ICJ, UN laid down few rules to ensure proper functioning of the court. Therefore, in the article below, I will explain the basic structure of the organization which composes of composition of the court, the bench, election procedure, powers of judges etc. Below mentioned are the main structure of ICJ to ensure proper functioning of the court.
