Rape: Attack On The Dignified Life Of A Woman

ABSTRACT

Rape is one of the most dangerous crime in India. The “Rape” is committed throughout all the religions and genders. In this Article, the crime of rape has been discussed in brief as some victims do not even register their cases due to fear to get judged by the society and that it will turn negative for them. It can destroy the life of the victim and society can still curse the women to put short dresses but they can`t understand that it`s their evil intentions. There were six rights that were given to the rape victim. It is a crime that is committed against the human rights provided to the citizens of the country. There were some sections and different situations, according to which punishments were situated in the Indian Penal Code, 1860. A quick and fair justice should be served to the rape victim. However, it is a mental trauma for a girl to face everything which has happened to her on daily basis.
