Role Of Forensic Science In Crime Investigation And Administration Of Justice In Criminal Proceedings: A Critical Study

ABSTRACT


Investigation of crime and administration of justice is always proven as herculean task in India. Crime is an act which takes place in secrete, lonely place and in dark. The culprits always take at most care to hide the crime and destroy the possible evidences from the place of crime. The investigating authorities face the difficulty to investigate the crime and to find out criminals. It is very difficult to find out eye witnesses to support the investigation and criminal proceedings as no body inclines to take risk to give testimony against offenders. The incomplete investigation of crime leads to acquittal of accused persons. The scientific and technological development resulted in various techniques that can be used in investigation and administration of justice. This paper is focused on role of forensic science in investigation of crime and in administration of justice in criminal proceedings.
