ABSTRACT

This research paper examines the relationship between social changes and legal changes in India. It explores how social movements, public opinion, and changing attitudes have influenced legal reforms in India, focusing on areas such as LGBTQ rights, women's rights, and religious freedoms. The paper identifies key examples of social changes that have led to legal changes in India, including the decriminalization of homosexuality, the outlawing of triple talaq, and the implementation of affirmative action policies.
