ABSTRACT

This article solely deals with Hindu law. IT explores the necessity for Hindu law to be amended in India to ensure justice, equality, and human rights. Gender inequality persists in numerous areas of current Hindu law, which affects personal and social elements of Hindus' life. This encompasses adoption and guardianship rights, inter-religious adoption limits, divorce reasons, marital age disparities, widow treatment, agricultural land rights, and domestic abuse legislation. The concept of a Uniform Civil Code, which promotes national unification and equal rights, is also mentioned in the article. Amendments are essential for removing biases and establishing justice and equality in Hindu law.
