ABSTRACT


The researchers in this research paper attempted to examine the insolvency proceedings of Bhushan Steel which were initiated by the State Bank of India Lenders Consortium when the Debtor company started defaulting on their loan repayments. The researchers have undertaken the task to explain the whole procedure that Tata Steel Ltd. Adopted in the CIRP proceedings under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The researchers have also analysed the impact of 2019 amendment in the code and how it affected the CIRP of Bhushan Steel.
