Self-Driven Transportation And Its Impacts On Drivers

ABSTRACT


In the current scenario, the concept of self-driven or automated vehicles are gradually coming into the existence which is a great achievement to the creators and also to the public at large. But the hidden crisis that the population to be affected at large is the driver community. The traditional methods of driving the cars are done by drivers who are experts in the field. The self-driven cars arise the question of job replacement to drivers and its influence in the labor market. The science has both advantages and disadvantages which are discussed. The impact of the technological advancements is also discussed. The question of self-driven cars as boon or bane is considered. Worldwide, we have no specific legislation as to the operation of robotic cars and its influence on drivers’ jobs. Hence, some suggestions as to the enactments are made. The importance of drivers’ union is discussed and the whole article deals with the technology and the traditional methods of drivers in a nutshell.
