Human Right Violation With Special Reference To Domestic Violence Against Women

Bhavana Sharma & Manoj Kumar Ph.D. Scholar, Lovely Professional University, Panjab

ABSTRACT

All people have the fundamental and basic rights to which they are entitled by virtue of being born into a family. Every individual is a moral and reasonable creature who deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, according to the underlying justification for the idea of human rights. Human rights are founded on equality, and this fundamental tenet cuts to the heart of human inequality. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights' Preamble declares that the "basis of freedom, justice, and peace in the world is recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family." Human rights are designed to eliminate discrimination and inequity based on gender, however, for women, reality frequently diverges from ideal notions and conceptions. Keywords: Domestic Violence, Human Rights, Laws for Women, Domestic Abuse, Mental Health.
